I have a little dog called Candy. Emphasis on little. She’s a Shih tzu, but the way she acts you’d think she was a tiger 😉 She never lets anything or anyone faze her – she barks powerfully and struts around the place like she owns it.
My Labrador and Cocker Spaniel are much bigger than her, but she puts them in their place with a loud, deafening bark. Also, Candy has extremely tiny teeth and nails that are like plastic. If another dog was to bite her, she would be in serious trouble. But from the way she portrays herself – all tough and gangsta like, all the big dogs are terrified of her. In spite of her size.
So here’s the thing. Size does not matter. It is not going to influence anything you do. Who you are – that’s what matters. Size cannot define you- it can’t be the first thing that pops into someone’s head when they think of you. Walk tall, talk powerfully, and never ever let anyone tell you that you’re too small or too tall. Make your personality the centre of attention, NOT your outer appearance. Take a leaf from Candy, and bring out the inner tiger in you 🙂
